Program: Family Based Mental Health Services Program

Job Summary* The Family Based Program Site Supervisor position requires 24/7 availability for crisis stabilization.*
Under the general direction of the ACRP Executive Director, Human Resources Director, Quality Assurance Manager, and Program Director the Site Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the Family Based Mental Health Services Program at the assigned site to ensure that established goals, objectives, and services are accomplished in accordance with prescribed regulations, priorities, time limits, and funding conditions. The Program Site Supervisor advises, makes recommendations and assists the Family Based Director and Family Based Teams in the formulation of goals and objectives, and exercises sound judgment as guided by the Program Director, in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities. * *
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Family Based Mental Health Services Program in compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations as well as professional and clinical standards of care
In conjunction with the psychologist, psychiatrist, case manager or other referral sources, determine clinical eligibility of referred patients, including verification of insurance eligibility and managed care authorization prior to rendering services
Serve as treatment team leader and participate in the development, implementation and review of client treatment plans
Be available 24/7 for any emergencies that may arise and for staff consultation
Ensure that the treatment plan goals/objectives address client strengths, clinical concerns, and diagnoses
Ensure that goals/objectives provide time frames and measurable outcomes
Ensure that treatment plans are in compliance with all state and managed care regulations and timeframes for completion
Assist in the supervision of support staff with timesheet/weekly paperwork verification and review said paperwork/timesheets to approve prior to processing
Ensure that FBMHS staff complete all required paperwork in adherence to agency, managed care and state regulations
Ensure involvement of all relevant participants including the client, client’s family, and other agencies or services
Ensure timely reviews of the treatment plan which update progress and address new concerns and treatment goals.
Assist with the recruitment, interviewing, and evaluation of staff
Make recommendations for the employment, promotion, disciplining, and termination of staff to the Program Director
Provide general supervision and training to subordinate staff and interns through individual, program, and agency wide meetings
Initiate and foster contact and facilitate services between MH/MR, professional providers, schools, patients, and families in order to monitor and assure the level of service quality
Assist with the development and implementation of instruments to track staff attendance at required trainings and supervision.Review and audit records, reports, correspondence, and other written materials of patients and by staff for accuracy of contents and efficiency of operation
Provide individual and team therapy to clients and families as required
Provide onsite supervision of FMBHS teams with clients and families
Assist in the development of Discharge Planning for each client/family to ensure continuity of care

Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related human service field
Two to three years of direct care experience with children or adolescents in the CASSP system. Supervisory experience preferred.
Act 33 & 34 Clearances, State Police background check and FBI clearances
Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
The ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse range of audiences
The ability to work in a face-paced environment, to multi-task, and to be able to complete work accurately within narrow time constraints
The ability to plan, coordinate, and direct a varied and complex administrative and clinical operation
The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from a wide variety of sources and take appropriate actions
The ability to assist in selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating employees
A compassionate, caring, and patient nature with children/adolescents
The Program Site Supervisor is administratively and programmatically accountable to the ACRP Executive Director, Human Resource Director, Quality Assurance Manager, and the Family Based Program Director.
